Job summary

Old Pueblo Community Services seeks a Therapist I to provide therapeutic services to outpatient clients, including individuals experiencing homelessness, serious mental illness, and substance use disorders. The role emphasizes harm reduction and Housing First in pursuing client goals.

The therapist will perform assessments, deliver counseling, maintain EHR documentation, and participate in supervision. Requires LMSW/LAC, CPI de-escalation, and a valid AZ driver license; salary range is stated

Qualifications

• Associate-level license (LMSW/LAC) required.
• Willingness to use evidence-based practices (Housing First, Harm Reduction).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience with EHR systems.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Arizona driver license and insurance proof required.

Responsibilities

• Completion of behavioral health assessments and recovery plans under supervision.
• Delivery of individual and group counseling.
• Update of care plans as services progress.
• Conduct interdisciplinary staffing to ensure quality care.
• Support colleagues through coaching on interventions.
• Engage in clinical supervision with supervisor.
• Document services in the EHR system.
• Maintain client files per HIPAA standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
