Job summary

Darke County Recovery Services, DBA Recovery & Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio, is seeking an outpatient therapist in Tipp City, OH. The role involves diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy within the scope of practice, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality care.

The position requires independent licensure or supervised licensure, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Carelogic MIS and Microsoft Word.

Qualifications

• Independent licensure (LISW/LISW-S/LPCC or Psychologist) or trainee licensure
• Willing to provide licensure supervision if designated
• Oral and written communication skills
• Good customer service and computer literacy for Carelogic and Word/Email

Responsibilities

• Informs clients of confidentiality limits, rights and payment expectations
• Performs diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy within scope
• Completes the Individual Treatment Plan with the client before services
• Coordinates interventions with a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Provides emergency consultation, assessment, and crisis intervention
• Completes all billable documentation within 24 hours
• Maintains documentation for non-billable services; referrals and discharges
• Collaborates with outside agencies and participates in program evaluation
• Supervises interns and supports graduate-level assistants as needed
• Engages in community outreach and mental health education
• Maintains CPR/First Aid skills and safe client management

Maintains efficient and timely documentation on all other non-billable services such as referrals, discharges, etc.Integrates services and/or make referrals to appropriate professionals or outside agencies as indicatedParticipates in the assessment of program needs and peer review, as well as cooperate with performance improvement objectivesMay supervise interns in professional training or graduate level unlicensed mental health therapists.Performs community outreach and education assignments including mental health education and prevention programs, as well as consultation services.Provides Billable services in excess of a minimum of 50% productivity or more than 90 hours monthlyComplies with confidentiality and protected health information rules.Attends staff meetings, in-services, case conferences, etc. as scheduledPerforms other related duties as assigned including support activities as needed to augment functioning of the agencyCollaborates in maintaining clean, safe workplace, including maintenance of CPR/First Aid skills and aggressive client management skills (TAPS or equivalent)Requirements**Required Credentials and Skills**Independent Licensure (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, or Psychologist) or Base Level Licensure (LSW, LPC, or graduate level psychology trainee or assistant)Must be willing to provide licensure supervision if licensure includes training supervision designationIf not independently licensed, supervision is provided by appropriately licensed mental health provider.Oral & written communication skillsCompetency in areas prerequisite for performing activities noted above.Displays good customer service skills with clients and public at large.Utilizes computer well enough to perform clinical documentation in Carelogic (MIS system) directly, as well as generate written communication in WORD or via email.**Physical Demands:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
