Job summary

High Plains Mental Health Center is hiring an Outpatient Therapist in Osborne, KS. The role provides individual, family, and group therapy, with intake assessments and treatment planning in a CC BCHC setting.

We offer regular clinical supervision, collaborative team support, and a strong emphasis on professional development and client-centered care. This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential after-hours coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
• Current Kansas licensure as one of the following (Licensed Psychologist, LMHP, LMSW Clinical, LCPC, LMFT)
• Eligibility for Kansas BSRB licensure and ability to obtain or maintain licensure and driving eligibility

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy with diverse mental health needs.
• Conduct intake assessments and establish treatment foundations.
• Design and implement goal-driven treatment plans for measurable progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community partners for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation per agency standards.

Pay: from $64,218 per year (salaried) | Incentive Pay | $7,500-9,000 SIGN-ON BONUS | $200 optional Saturday clinic bonus

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (+ >3 hours outside normal business hours per week | 40 hours / week total)

Requirements:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
• Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following:
• Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master Level Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist
• Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)
• Ability to pass all required background checks and pre‑employment drug screening
