Job summary

High Plains Mental Health Center in Hays, Kansas is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy at our in-person clinic. Responsibilities include intake assessments, treatment planning, and collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: from $64,218 per year (salaried) | Incentive Pay | $1,000 ENHANCED sign-on bonus | $200 optional Saturday clinic bonus

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (+ >3 hours outside normal business hours per week | 40 hours / week total)

Requirements
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
  • Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following:
  • Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master Level Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker
  • Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)
  • Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment drug screening
