Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Jacksonville, NC is seeking an Outpatient Therapist to provide person-centered therapy for clients facing mental health and/or substance use challenges in our outpatient clinic. You will conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to formulate meaningful PCPs and you may design and lead therapy groups.

The role requires a Master’s degree and current mental health licensure (LCSW/A, LCMHC/A, LCAS/A; dual licensure preferred).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health-related field and licensure are required.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and group facilitation.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and valid driver’s license.

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Outpatient Therapist on the team, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals build brighter, healthier futures. You’ll conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop meaningful treatment goals and person-centered plans (PCPs) that reflect each client’s unique voice, needs, and aspirations. You’ll also have the opportunity to design and lead therapy groups, fostering connection and growth.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $55,000 - $62,000 Provisional / $60,000 - $73,000 Fully Licensed.

What We’re Looking For

• Skills: Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and group facilitation, crisis intervention, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Education: A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.
  • LCSW (A), LCMHC (A), LCAS (A):
    • Dual licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
