White Plains Hospital Medical Center in White Plains, NY is seeking a Surgical Technologist – Outpatient to manage instruments and equipment for ambulatory procedures. You will anticipate surgeons' needs and maintain sterile technique, supporting patient safety and quality care.

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager and surgical team, you will handle instrument prep, aseptic practice, and post-procedure tasks while adhering to state law and hospital policies.

Competenze

• Graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES–accredited program and holds CST certification.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire is required for new staff.
• Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork are essential.
• Regulatory and infection control standards must be followed at all times.

Mansioni

• Sets up instruments and equipment for ambulatory procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Assists surgeons and RNs before, during, and after operations.
• Ensures proper handling of specimens and decontamination of instruments.
