White Plains Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist – Outpatient to support ambulatory procedures in the Surgery Operating Room. You will handle instruments, maintain sterile technique and anticipate surgeons’ needs to ensure safe, efficient care.

Under supervision, you will prepare equipment, assist with counts, and support intraoperative care while following hospital policies and infection control standards.

Competenze

• Graduate from a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited program and CST credential.
• 1) Military surgical technology program accepted; 2) Grandfathered by prior employment in surgical tech; 3) BLS certification required.

Mansioni

• Handles instruments, supplies and equipment during ambulatory procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and aseptic hand scrub.
• Counts instruments with the surgical team.
• Assists surgeon and RN with post-procedure care.
• Prepares/picks OR cases and ensures equipment readiness.
• Adheres to infection control and safety policies.
