Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Dublin, OH is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our outpatient surgical team. You will support surgeons, coordinate perioperative nursing care, and supervise other team members to ensure every procedure runs safely and efficiently.

Our OR suite includes 4 operating rooms and 4 endoscopy rooms with plastics, colorectal, urology, ophthalmology, and OB/GYN services, and pre-op and post-op coverage for surgical and endoscopy

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with Ohio licensure.
• Background in operating room or surgical center preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative nursing care.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the surgical team.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and family communication pre/post-op.

Education

RN license Ohio

2-year college degree

Bachelor's degree preferred

Accredited nursing program graduate
