Job summary

Ohio Orthopedic Surgery Institute and Grove City Surgery Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This full-time position offers no on-call, no weekends, and no holidays, with 10-hour shifts and a day off midweek.

Two ASC locations, 10 state-of-the-art operating rooms and a focus on orthopedic specialties, provide comprehensive perioperative care. Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative assessments, assisting surgeons, and maintaining

Qualifications

• 2 years operating room experience required.
• Current Ohio Nursing License (RN).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience with total joints and spine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements a safe, individualized patient care plan.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative evaluations.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by supplying instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and maintain medical documentation before, during, and after surgeries.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team! No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays. 10-Hour shifts = a day off during the week. Full Time benefits beginning at 30 hours a week. Willing to look at part-time for experienced OR staff. Quarterly bonus profit share!

Two ASC locations: Ohio Orthopedic Surgery Institute in Upper Arlington, Ohio, and Grove City Surgery Center in Grove City, Ohio.

With 10 state-of-the‑art operating rooms and 1 procedure rooms, we deliver specialized treatment for Foot and Ankle, General Orthopedics, Hand and Wrist, Joint Replacement, Pain Management, Spine, Sports Medicine, and Upper Extremity. Our patients enjoy uncompromising care in a comfortable and safe environment with the additional amenities of being at a small facility with convenient parking, and short wait times.

Duties

• Assesses, Plans, Evaluates, and Implements a safe and individualized plan of patient care according to facility policies and procedures.

Experience

• Prior experience in an Operating Room setting (2 years, required)
• Current and active Ohio Nursing License
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience performing total joints and spine a plus
