Job summary

Pasadena Villa Outpatient LLC is seeking an Associate Therapist in West Des Moines, IA to provide care coordination and group therapy within an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization setting. You will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and facilitate group sessions under licensed supervision.

You will collaborate with clients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care through admission to discharge, ensuring compliant documentation and evidence-based

Qualifications

• Requires an LBSW, CADC or IADC certification with at least 1 year of relevant client experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with mental health and substance use disorders preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care and develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client needs (substance use, mental, and physical health) and create tailored recovery plans.
• Complete session notes, contact logs, discharge plans and reports in compliance with guidelines.
• Document within prescribed format and timelines.
• Reflect ongoing assessments of client’s clinical presentation and behaviors.
• Facilitate specialized groups based on education, training, and experience.
• Select interventions to meet clinical needs of clients.
• Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients with positive reinforcement.
• Set limits and boundaries in a compassionate manner.
• Conduct verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation with team as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care from admission to discharge.
• Attend meetings and advocate for assigned cases.
• Communicate client progress with referral sources, families, and guardians.
