Job summary

Omnis Health Life and Wellness Center in Baltimore is actively hiring a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to join our established outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP).

This W2 position with guaranteed hours offers a structured schedule, competitive benefits, and supportive supervision within a collaborative team environment. You will provide individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and document care in the EMR, helping clients progress toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Maryland credentials: LGADC, LCADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT, LGPC, LCPC.
• Experience in substance use or behavioral health preferred.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling (average 8-10 client sessions daily).
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Complete timely documentation in EMR.
• Monitor client progress and support recovery goals.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings.
• Collaborate with medical and behavioral health staff.
• Maintain compliance with program policies and regulatory standards.
