Job summary

Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate counselors to provide group and individual therapy for substance abuse students in outpatient settings. The role includes maintaining confidential records, reporting, and working under supervision to support treatment goals.

Location is Tucson, Arizona, on-site, with a non-exempt hourly schedule. Candidates should have a behavioral health background and relevant certifications; multiple qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health field or equivalent experience in a related setting.
• 2+ years in substance abuse or behavioral health treatment preferred or related education/experience.
• Familiarity with therapeutic community processes and small-group dynamics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in group, individual, and therapeutic processes under supervision.
• Observes, records, evaluates changes in student behavior and maintains confidential records.
• Prepares reporting and documentation; protects student health and confidentiality.
• Attends workshops and trainings as requested by supervisor.
• May serve as Community Advocate as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
