Job summary

St. David's South Austin Medical Center, part of St. David's HealthCare in Austin, TX, seeks an RN for the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Clinic.

You will care for blood and marrow transplant patients with hematologic/oncologic disorders in the outpatient setting, in partnership with the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute; the center is FACT accredited. This role includes mentorship, clinical education, and certification support, with a nationwide transfer policy and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license (or Compact with Texas license within 90 days).
• BLS certification per policy.
• Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Provider – preferred.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for blood and marrow transplant patients and hematologic/oncologic disorders.
• Utilize nursing processes to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assess age-appropriate needs in oncology patients.
• Provide emotional, spiritual, religious and cultural support.
• Apply principles of oncology nursing in daily practice.
