Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for Bone Marrow Transplant and Transplant Cellular Therapy Cancer Clinic to support patients and families along the oncology care continuum.

This role uses the nursing process to provide education, assess needs, coordinate referrals, and deliver evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced clinic environment. Requires RN with Texas license and BLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current Texas nursing license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient health status using age-specific considerations.
• Develop and implement plan of care using nursing process.
• Communicate health data to the care team for coordinated care.
• Provide patient and family education to support informed decisions.
• Supervise and coordinate care among healthcare team members.
