Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an Outpatient Speech Therapist (Pool/PRN) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an outpatient clinic setting at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, FL. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress in medical records, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires CCC-SLP, Master's degree, license, and BLS; Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Evaluates and diagnoses speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provides speech therapy sessions in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Documents patient progress and maintains HIPAA-compliant medical records.
• Collaborates with physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists for coordinated care.
• Educates patients, caregivers, and families on therapy goals and strategies.
• Participates in team meetings and rehabilitation program development.
• Stays current with evidence-based practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology.

Responsibilities
