Job summary

Fairview Hospital / Cleveland Clinic is seeking an outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adults and children.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Education for patients and families is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Licensing and certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse populations, including children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adults and/or children within an outpatient rehab setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families about treatment approaches and progress
