Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PC use, reading, and writing in English.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle high‑pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues using assessments and observations.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Monitoring progress, adjusting therapies, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Engaging in professional development and quality assurance activities.
