The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (Outpatient) to assess, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders for patients aged 15 and older, under physician referral.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating patient-centered treatment plans, documenting outcomes, and supervising techs and students while coordinating care across the rehab team.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Indiana state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Current CPR certification in accordance with AHA standards or ability to obtain within 4 weeks.
• One year of clinical experience in rehabilitation preferred, Clinical Fellowship Year considered.

Responsabilidades

• Administers SLP evaluations for inpatients and outpatients and determines appropriate treatment programs and equipment needs.
• Provides comprehensive assessment for adults with speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing, and hearing impairment.
• Develops a patient-centered treatment plan based on evaluation and patient goals to optimize communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Ensures treatment plan supports medical necessity and uses evidence-based treatments and outcome measures.
• Completes documentation in compliance with timelines to support medical necessity.
• Provides clinical supervision to techs and students per regulations and hospital guidelines.
