Job summary

The role requires a BS/MS/Doctorate, KY or IN licensure eligibility, and BLS certification; familiarity with EMR systems and revenue cycle processes is beneficial. On-site opportunities with a supportive health system are offered.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Doctorate from an accredited college or university (required).
• Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association (required).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement therapy treatment; re-assess to modify the plan as needed.
• Communicate patient status and goals to physicians and therapy customers.
• Maintain effective working relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
• Consider cost implications; provide cost-effective treatment programming.
• Ensure accurate charges and clinical documentation for compliance.
• Supervise rehab technicians, assistants and students as appropriate.
• Monitor workflow; ensure productivity and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to program development and performance improvement initiatives.
