Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state (or eligible).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals and perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop and implement written plans of care with functional goals and monitor outcomes.
• Provide discharge planning, home programs, and caregiver education.
• Complete documentation per department policy, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Maintain productivity standards and ensure safety and infection control measures.
• Supervise non-licensed personnel as needed and support student clinical education.
