Flagship Therapy's Pleasant Manor in Waxahachie, TX is seeking Outpatient Speech Language Pathologists for full-time, part-time or PRN schedules. You will join an in-house therapy team serving geriatric patients across post-acute and long-term care settings, with a stable, supportive work environment and a focus on compassionate patient care.

OUTPATIENT SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - FULL TIME, PART TIME and PRN SCHEDULES AVAILABLE

Pleasant Manor in Waxahachie, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking Full Time, Part Time and PRN Outpatient Speech Language Pathologists for our in-house therapy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
