St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab program.

We provide post-acute and geriatric care, a stable therapy team, and opportunities to support patients in their recovery journey. The role includes screening and evaluating patients, delivering skilled interventions, administering rehabilitation procedures, providing counseling to patients and families, and generating discharge summaries that meet regulatory

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City, UT, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologistfor our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:
