OUTPATIENT SPEECH‑LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – PRN

Copperfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Houston, TX, is seeking a PRN Outpatient Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our in‑house therapy team. Responsibilities

• Effectively screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modify services as needed, and make referrals based on outcomes.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding speech disorders.
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels.
