Job summary

Flagship Therapy in Arlington, TX is seeking an Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to deliver patient-centered care as an as-needed clinician. The role requires a valid SLP license and ALF experience is preferred.

Open to applicants at all experience levels with flexible scheduling and opportunities for CEU and career growth. The position focuses on evaluating and treating communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, documenting outcomes, and coordinating with families and care

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required.
• Experience with ALF settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services; refer as needed.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.
