Job summary

We are seeking an Outpatient Services Nurse to join MGRMC in Safford, AZ. The nurse provides nursing care to patients in the Outpatient Services department and other areas as needed, under the supervision of the Director of Outpatient Nursing and Wound Care.

Must hold an Arizona RN license or compact state license, with current CPR and ACLS certifications within six months of hire. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required, and excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification (AHA) required.
• ACLS Certification within six months of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Outpatient Nursing and Wound Care, the Outpatient Services Nurse provides nursing care to patients in the Outpatient Services department and in other departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have current Arizona Registered Nurses or Compact State License
• Maintain current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) required or other approved educational programs.
• Maintains current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or other approved educational programs within six months (6) months of hire.
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.
• Must have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time nursing experience in a hospital setting or equivalent.
• Previous Meditech experience or other related electronic records systems.
• Previous experience with wound care.
• Conservative Sharp Debridement Certificate
