Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; applicable work experience may substitute.
• Certification: BLS (basic life support) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve objectives.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery, information technologies, service levels, and complaint management.
• Plans staffing activities: hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, continuing education.
• Manages budgets and ensures compliance with funding; coordinates audits.
• Fosters an environment that supports professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
