Fresenius Medical Care in Newark, NJ is seeking an entry-level Outpatient Registered Nurse (CAP 1) to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients during hemodialysis. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care under supervision, collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

The role requires NJ RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with priority for nephrology experience.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification are required.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.

Aufgaben

• Collect and analyze patient data during pre-, during-, and post-hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated and notify supervisor or physician as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and self-care.
• Administer medications per protocol and document justification and outcomes.
