The Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) at the Janesville VA Clinic in Janesville, WI provides evidence-based outpatient care to Veterans and oversees nursing staff as appropriate. The role includes directing nursing education, orientation, competencies, and contributing to quality improvement and outcomes utilization consultations.
Located in Janesville, WI, this full-time position offers a comprehensive VA benefits package and a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm,
Formación
- English proficiency required for direct patient care.
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with active RN license.
- Licensure via state nursing board required; eligible for GNT exception if applicable.
Responsabilidades
- Provide evidence-based outpatient nursing care.
- Lead and direct nursing education, orientation and competencies.
- Participate in quality improvement and outcomes utilization.
- Provide care coordination for Veterans in the clinic setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to foster safe, effective care.
- Support Professional development and ongoing education for staff.
