Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care in outpatient settings. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health care team.

You will coordinate care, perform patient assessment and education, and work with physicians and other professionals to plan, implement and evaluate outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs.
• Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care, patient assessment, education, and various nursing interventions in outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate outpatient care.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and standards of nursing practice and maintain licensure and certifications.
