Job summary

Citrus Heights Post Acute seeks a non-clinical support professional to assist in the rehabilitation services department. Responsibilities include patient transport, coordinating therapy sessions, and maintaining equipment. Must work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Strong ability to communicate with therapists, patients, and families; familiarity with Windows and Outlook is preferred. High school diploma required and safety-focused approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Transfer patients following safety precautions as directed by the therapy department.
• Transport patients to/from therapy sessions.
• Coordinate therapy sessions with patients and nursing staff to ensure timely visits.
• Print and coordinate therapist schedules; pull reports and distribute to therapists as directed.
• Troubleshoot IT equipment and computer dysfunction; interact with patients and families to coordinate therapy.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of supplies in the therapy gym; manage therapy equipment including wheelchairs.
