Job summary

Grand Lake Health System seeks a nurse to provide outpatient care, greet and assess patients, and document findings in the electronic medical record. The role requires collaborating with physicians and health team members to implement orders and maintain patient privacy and safety.

You will communicate effectively with patients and staff, serve as a liaison with outside agencies, and support disease prevention and wellness through a patient-centered approach in a first-shift, weekdays setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in medical practice or outpatient clinic preferred.
• BCLS Healthcare Provider Certification must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Greets and escorts patients through the medical practice.
• Completes nursing assessments and documents in the EMR.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team in implementing orders.
• Implements and documents clinical and technical aspects of care.
• Communicates with patients, physicians and team members regarding care.
• Serves as liaison for patients with outside agencies and providers.
• Maintains patient rights to privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
• Maintains adherence to health system policies and infection control guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
