Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an Outpatient RN CAP 2 for a float position to provide dialysis patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The role involves collecting data before, during, and after hemodialysis, adjusting treatment plans, educating patients and families, administering medications, and assisting in emergency responses.

The RN may lead and mentor staff, ensure proper laboratory procedures, update nursing assessments, and participate in quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Current state licensure as a registered nurse.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsabilités

Role:

Outpatient RN CAP 2, a float position, provides clinically competent care for dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

Collects and analyzes patient data pre-, during, and post-hemodialysis, adjusts treatment plans, educates patients and families, administers medications, and assists in emergency responses.

Serves as a leader and mentor for staff, ensures proper laboratory procedures, updates nursing assessments, and participates in quality improvement initiatives.

May serve as a Preceptor and participate in the Clinical Advancement Program.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of an accredited nursing school, current state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Physical & Work Conditions:

Involves heavy lifting, prolonged standing, equipment movement, and exposure to infectious materials within a healthcare environment.

Supervision:

May oversee Patient Care Technicians, LVNs, LPNs, or other RNs after meeting experience and training requirements.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to perform in various locations, complete CAP requirements, and adhere to safety and policy standards.
