Job summary

HHS is seeking an Outpatient Registered Dietitian for Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC. You will perform nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include patient education, documenting goals in the medical record, and coordinating with nursing, food service, and other teams. Starting salary is $62,000 with a $3,000 RD sign-on bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs.

• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance.

Starting salary $62,000 (Negotiable based on experience) + $3,000 RD sign-on bonus
