Job summary

HHS is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center in Suffolk, VA. The role focuses on completing nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care, with a starting rate of $35/hr and a minimum 16 hours per week.

You will educate patients and staff, document goals in the medical record, and collaborate with physicians to support regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.

Part-Time Registered Dietitian at Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center in Suffolk, VA

Starting rate $35/hr (Negotiable based on experience)

Minimum of 16 hrs/wk (Growth potential to 24 hours)

Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for both inpatient and outpatient care

Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs

Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record

Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status

Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements

Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance
