Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our culinary and nutrition team. This role is supported by HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC and offers a starting salary of $62,000 with a $3,000 RD sign-on bonus.

You will conduct nutritional assessments, educate patients and staff, and coordinate with physicians to tailor therapeutic diets for both inpatient and outpatient care. Eligible for up to 18 CEUs annually and licensure fees paid.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service, and staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend patient rounds and support regulatory compliance in nutrition policies.
