Job summary
RAYUS Radiology is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our outpatient clinics in Carmel, Indiana. The role involves providing quality nursing care, patient education, and assisting physicians during procedures.
This position requires about 23 hours per week, Tuesday through Thursday, 8am–4pm. Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, an active Indiana RN license, and current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Qualifications
- Must hold active RN license in state of Indiana
- Two years nursing experience in hospital or clinic setting
- Current CPR, BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must have TB test within required interval
- Willingness to travel between sites and have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures and care to patients to gain cooperation
- Screen patients for precautions before procedures
- Educate patients and family about pre, intra, and post procedure care
- Administer prescribed meds and treatments per standards
- Prepare equipment and assist physician during procedures
- Monitor patient comfort, safety, and vital signs
- Document patient history and assessments
- Initiate patient education plans as prescribed
