Job summary

Tender Care Home Health & Hospice in El Paso, TX seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for the Outpatient Clinic East and West Side locations. Under a licensed Physical Therapist, you’ll assist in patient evaluation and carry out approved treatment plans.

You’ll coordinate with the care team, document patient progress, educate families on home programs, and adapt plans as needed. Active CPR certification and current PT assistant licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Minimum of one year of clinical physical therapy experience.
• Licensed to practice physical therapy by the state licensing board.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ongoing evaluation of patients referred to PT.
• Implement treatment programs per physician's orders and plan of care.
• Coordinate treatment plans with supervising PT and other team members.
• Re-evaluate and adjust treatment plans as progress dictates.
• Explain goals to families and advise on adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and case conferences.
