Tender Care Home Health & Hospice in El Paso, TX seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN outpatient clinic coverage. You will provide skilled therapy under a licensed PT, support patient goals, and document progress. Experience in clinical PT and an active license are required.

Position is PRN with outpatient locations on East and West Sides; pay is hourly and benefits are offered for full-time candidates where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a graduate of a 2 year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the clinical practice of Physical Therapy.
• Must be licensed to practice physical therapy by the state licensing board.
• Current CPR license.

Aufgaben

• Under direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assist in evaluation of patients referred to physical therapy.
• Implement rehabilitation programs per physician orders and plan of care.
• Coordinate treatment plans with the supervising therapist and other staff.
• Re-evaluate treatment as progress occurs and adjust plans as directed.
• Explain goals to families and suggest adaptive equipment.
• Maintain patient records and necessary documentation within 48 hours.
• Participate in trainings and professional development.
• Perform and document standard PT-related procedures and modalities.
