Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for the outpatient clinic on a per diem, day shift basis. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement rehabilitation plans for patients of all ages.

The role requires an accredited PTA program credential, an NH license, and BLS certification. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and timely, compliant documentation are essential components of the position.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal training beyond high school required.
• NH PTA license and BLS certification required.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and diverse populations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carries out treatment plans to achieve established goals.
• Collaborates with the primary therapist on patient case management.
• Ensures documentation complies with standards and is completed timely.
• Manages insurance and charging requirements as part of patient access.
• Participates in hospital and departmental initiatives and quality programs.
