Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for an outpatient role in Artesia, New Mexico. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with a strong emphasis on diverse patient populations and a supportive rehab team at a hospital-based setting.

Qualifications

• PTA license and BLS certification required.
• Provide skilled interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, and musculoskeletal rehab preferred.
• Outpatient, full-time schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri 8a–5p.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in carrying out treatment plans for orthopedic, neuro, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Document services in accordance with state, federal, and facility requirements.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and safety.
