Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in NY with at least 3 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities.
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
• Ability to delegate appropriate support staff and train them.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in patient care and notifies supervising PT of patient condition.
• Follows the Plan of Care and state practice guidelines.
• Educates patients and counsels on exercises and recovery.
• Completes documentation in the EMR to support therapy services.
• Under PT supervision, records daily notes and liaises with patients.
