Rock Creek of Ottawa in Ottawa, KS is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program and support geriatric care in a post-acute setting.

The PTA will screen and evaluate patients, develop care plans, deliver skilled interventions, and assist with discharge summaries while adhering to regulatory standards and clinical practice requirements.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.
• New Grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.
