Job summary

University Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient sports medicine team in Virginia. You will evaluate injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care to help patients recover and optimize performance.

You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff, maintain precise documentation, and stay current with advances in sports medicine to ensure high-quality care for returning athletes and active patients.

Qualifications

• DPT or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia PT license.
• 1+ year outpatient orthopedics or sports medicine preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose injuries to build individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on therapy and prescribe therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and rehab team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay current with best practices in sports medicine and rehab.
