Job summary

Spaulding Cape Cod is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join the network of Mass General Brigham. The role focuses on a 1:1 treatment model in an outpatient clinic across Sandwich, Hyannis, Orleans, and nearby communities, with mentorship and education opportunities.

The position requires graduation from an accredited PT program and Massachusetts licensure (DPT preferred post-2016). The team emphasizes high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development with competitive pay

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• Licensure: Massachusetts license required; DPT preferred after 2016; see details.

Responsibilities

• Complete billing sheet accurately by end of day.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes a plan of care.
• Provides in-service education programs for nursing personnel as needed.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Discusses evaluation, goals and treatment with both patient and family.
• Participates in Hospital-wide quality process improvement.
• Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
