Job summary

Ortho Louisville is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team in Louisville, KY. You will evaluate and treat patients per a therapist-designed plan and collaborate with clinicians to support full recovery after surgery or injury.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
• State license to practice physical therapy.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to state practice act including rules of supervision for support staff.
• Maintain state licensure and complete continuing education regularly to stay current on the practice of physical therapy to best serve our patients.
• Evaluate and treat patients in need of skilled physical therapy services with proper documentation to support medical necessity of treatment.
• Facilitate open communication with physicians, co-workers and patients to provide the best comprehensive care possible for the community we serve.
• Participate in chart audits and review of care plans with colleagues to facilitate best practices within our organization.
