Job summary

P4 Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide coverage in our outpatient clinic in Knoxville, TN.

The successful candidate will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and document progress per established guidelines, while coordinating with physicians, insurers, and care teams. CPR certification and CAPTE-credentialed education are required, with TN DPT license or active license prospects.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist program.
• TN DPT license or ability to begin licensing promptly.
• CPR certification.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities to manage the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Review physician's referral and medical records to determine PT treatment.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Oversee care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Create a written plan of care with goals and a comprehensive program.
• Implement PT treatment program and essential therapies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation: daily notes, reports, evaluations, discharge summaries, incident reports.
