Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with experience in lymphedema treatment to join the Outpatient Rehabilitation: Womens Health team. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-5 with one half-day Saturday every 8 weeks, and a pay range of $38.20-$57.30 per hour.

The incumbent will also treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients and participate in evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school.
• Current licensure in the applicable state.
• CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships, and team building.
• Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and aligned with the Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate documentation by completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy; keeps patient records systematically and legibly.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards by understanding budgeted expectations, maintaining productivity, and adjusting individual schedules to meet patient and department needs.
• Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifies quality and operational opportunities, communicates progress barriers to supervisor, and researches evidence-based best practices to improve patient care.
• Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers, provides representation on committees, conducts in-service training programs to share state-of-the-art information.

Education

B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from accredited physical therapy school
