Inova Health System’s Inova Physical Therapy – Dulles South/Chantilly invites a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This full-time role is 31.75 hours per week, day shift, Monday to Friday with occasional evening shifts at our Chantilly location.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges).
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
