Inova Health System is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join the Alexandria team on a Full Time, Day Shift. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7am-7pm and Friday 7am-4pm, with two evening shifts until 7pm required. Work location: 4700 King Street, Ste.

200, Alexandria, VA 22302. The PT will provide comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to a patient-centered approach within a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable)
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
