Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Doctoral Degree, Masters or Bachelor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive initial evaluations to identify functional deficits and develops a treatment plan.
• Provides skilled interventions tailored to patient needs using appropriate techniques.
• Collaborates with patients to create short and long-term goals.
• Communicates with patients, families, and providers ensuring informed consent and confidentiality.
• Manages patients to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
• Establishes diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care based on evidence.
• Supervises PTAs and students as assigned.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
